     A HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND GOOD BOWLING IN 2011.

On Saturday 20th. November 2010 the Portadown 'B' Team players had the great  honour of going to the Craigavon Civic Centre at the request of Alderman Stephen Moutray MLA  the Mayor of Craigavon who was hosting a Civic Reception for the team to congratulate them on their success during the 2010 outdoor season when they did the double winning the N.I.B.A. Junior Cup and the Division Four League.

The Portadown 'B' Team finished their record breaking season on Saturday 28th. August 2010 at the Pleasure Gardens Bowling Green in Portadown with another six point win against a very strong 58th. Old Boys team from Belfast.

N.I.B.A. League Division Four.           League  Winners

Played 14 Games 6 at Home & 8 Away

Won all 14 games with a total of 92 Points out of a possible 98

( 9 games with the maximum 7 points,4 with 6 points and only1 with 5 Points ) 

Total Shots For : 1316   ( Highest in the N.I.B.A. Leagues  69 Teams )

Total Shots Against : 862 (Lowest in the  N.I.B.A. Leagues 69 Teams )

Was the only N.I.B.A. Team that completed their League Fixtures this year  undefeated.

N.I.B.A. Junior Cup.         Cup  Winners

Played 4 games all away from home and Won all 4

Total Shots For : 384 ,  Total Shots Against :  263.

 I.B.A.  Junior  Cup.      Beat in the Quarter Finals.

Played 3 games all away from home Won 2  and Lost 1

 One team from each of the other three associations

Total Shots For :  249 ,  Total Shots Against : 242.

The Portadown 'B' Team have won the N.I.B.A. Division Four League Title, with still two games having to be played,they have played  twelve games in the League and won all of them, droping only five points out of a possible eighty four.

They have also won the N.I.B.A. Junior Cup this year to do the double for the first time in the history of the club.

All Bowlers both Ladies & Gents are requested to come to the Pleasure Gardens on the above date to play in this years Charity Fun Bowls  &  Ben Dermott Cup which are both being held on the same night this year.

Come and support our Charity which this year is

 and enjoy a good nights Bowling.

The President & Members of the Portadown Bowling Club would like to wish Sean & Martin Trainor all the best as they go to play in the Rink that will be representing Ireland in this years British Isles Championships at Worthing from Wednesday 1st. to Saturday 4th, July.
